    Important Considerations

    Camera Requirements:

    Resolution: The video must be recorded at 640x480 pixels or better resolution.

    Frame Rate: The recording frame rate must be a minimum of 20 frames per second (fps).

    Selecting Location(s):

    Ensure this location has adequate visibility of the area you want to monitor, including all vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle activity.

    Camera Mounting:

    Height: Mount the camera at least 12 feet high. Generally, higher is better, with 18 feet being ideal if achievable.

    Coverage: The detection coverage varies with camera lens characteristics. Typically, you can expect to detect up to 200 feet from the camera.

    Stability: Ensure the camera is securely positioned to cover the desired area and remains stable. Avoid obstructions that might block the view.

    Sample submission:

    If you have any concerns about whether your camera is suitable for video collection, feel free to submit a sample video, and we'll be happy to help you determine this.

    Organizing Video for Upload

    If your submission includes video from multiple locations, organize video(s) from each location into a separate folder.

    Ensure that video files have timestamps embedded within their title:

    Complete the location details form for each location and place with video files within the location folder.

    Once all the video files are organized, create a zip folder with all the location folders.
